Ngày 3 - mạo hiểm nhất (Day 3 - the most adventurous)

Hellooooo......!!!!!!!!  =)

Day 3 in Vietnam...

Once again, we started our day with buffet breakfast at the hotel...
Today's trip is going to be tough...nak pegi tempat Perang Vietnam!!
:o :o :o

From the hotel, the journey to Củ Chi Tunnel took us almost 2 hours.
Although long journey, tapi tak rasa sangat  coz we nyanyi2 dlm bas - lagu2 popular Madam
and shared few testimonials

Once arrived at Củ Chi Tunnel, we went straight to the entrance...which on our way, kitorg jumpe pokok nangka yang agak pelik ni. Byk gile kot buah die...tumbuh mcm pokok duit-duit!! hehe

Brief facts about Củ Chi Tunnel (taken from Wikipedia):

The tunnels of Củ Chi are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in the Củ Chi district of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam, and are part of a much larger network of tunnels that underlie much of the country. The Củ Chi tunnels were the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam War, and were the Viet Cong's base of operations for the Tết Offensive in 1968.
The tunnels were used by Viet Cong guerrillas as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous guerrilla fighters. The tunnel systems were of great importance to the Viet Cong in their resistance to American forces, and helped achieve ultimate military success.

...sempat lagi snap dgn Naa before entering the tunnel's entrance heheheh

Okay, now korang kena tgk gamba bawah ni....

...ni lubang for the Vietnamese soldiers to enter their tunneling system. Lubang die amat kecik okay...!! Besar mcm A4 paper jekk!!!
Jerat2 and perangkap2 yang org2 Vietnam pasang pun ade display jugak...scary laaa tengok!!
:o :o :o

among them, this Folding Chair Trap!! Cuba imagine korang termasuk dlm perangkap tu...haaaaa, camne nk escape?!?!

...this is where they display perangkap2 diorg tuh - Self Made Weapons Gallery

Dekat Củ Chi Tunnel ni jugak, ade shooting range for public to fire using weapons yang digunakan mase Perang Vietnam dulu.

Ada AK47, M16 etc...according to our tourist guide, this is THE ONLY PLACE IN THE WORLD yang allow public to open fire using AK47!! That's cool!!

For us, kitorang tak lepas kan peluang ni...to fire 10 bullets at USD17...memula I plan to fire only 1 bullet and Shazwan will fire 9.

Tapi, lepas Shazwan daa tembak 8 bullets...staff kat situ PAKSA I to shoot another 2 bullets...!!

OMG...!! Memang takut okayyy..!! Boleh pengsan kot...!!
Each time dengar satu tembakan, I akan terkejut...satu shoot lg, I terkejut lg!! what more kalau ade tourist yg guna M-16 kat situ!!! isk3...boleh pekak tauu!! although with ear muff on huhuhuh

memang tak bleh dok lame laa kat shooting range nihh...!!

CONFIRM tak boleh jadi askar laa camni hahahahah

...tengok laa pakcik ni, hebat kannn?! ;)

...one shot with CDM Salha after shooting with AK47 =P

After shooting range...we went INTO the tunnel pulakkk. Kitorang masuk dlm tunnel which is about 4-5  meters underground. Kitorang kena jalan bongkok kat dlm tunnel tu...mcm monyet hehehe

(cuba korang gaya kan...sama tak mcm monyet?! heheheh)

...this is me inside the tunnel

After Củ Chi Tunnel, we went back to town to continue our trip itinerary...

Stopped for lunch at Malaysian Cuisine Restaurant D'Nyonya... =)

...alamak, tak pandang camera laaa pulaakkk =P

Also stopped for Zohor prayers, just next to D'Nyonya restaurant tadi...

We then continue to Vietnam's Reunification Palace...
Simbol kemerdekaan Vietnam dan kemudian dijadikan tempat tarikan pelancong

...at one of the meeting rooms. Syyyyhhh....

Dekat Reunification Palace ni jugak, the whole Hai-O group yang datang Vietnam trip ni bergambar beramai-ramai...the whole 400++ people in one picture!!

After that, we went to China Town market
Tak beli apa2 sangat, just bags for my two nephews; Najmi and Hafiz

Pastu?
